Itchy Ears

Itchy-ears can be a ‘stand-alone’ symptom.  If your ears are occasionally itchy, you can safely assume they could be damp from bathing or sweating, and drying them solves the itch.  However, chronically (persistently) itchy ears can seem like a minor nuisance – until suddenly you find you have a burst eardrum.

Begin Resolution Magic, and keep a record of the intensity, duration and frequency of the itchiness, and you will soon find that your ears stop misbehaving.

Whenever your ears are itchy, repeat a one-minute active session every half hour, for a few days.  Direct your session right into the middle of the ear.  If you find it hard to ‘direct’ your intentions, just imagine you are speaking to a gremlin in your ear.

At first, Resolution Magic will appear to have no effect.  Just ‘do it anyway’.

You won’t need to do it quite so often on the second day, as the itchiness will probably reduce very quickly.  However, don’t let it begin to increase again.  Be vigilant!

After you have reduced it down to nil, if you feel a little itch, remind it quickly with a few strong ‘Go Aways’.  Watch out for chronic itch – it is only a mini-neurological wave!

Case History: Samantha – Itchy Ears

Samantha had constantly itchy ears, and she tried to make sure they were dry after bathing.  When Samantha mentioned it to her family and friends, no one really understood quite how much they itched.  Everyone else had itchy ears from time to time, so they didn’t think it was remarkable in any way.

The trouble was, Samantha’s ears were almost permanently itchy.  Every day, she cleaned her ears with a cotton tip. She constantly rubbed them, but the itch didn’t stop.

One day, Samantha saw blood on the end of a cotton tip.  She thought something might be terribly wrong.  She made an emergency appointment with her doctor who told her that she had perforated her eardrum.  She was horrified. The doctor explained to her that it would heal, but she would have to stop itching her ears or sooner or later it could cause permanent physical damage.

Samantha began a simple re-sequencing programme that she had read in the book, ‘Resolution Magic’.

This is the same routine as the re-training for a tickly cough.

Every time the tickle escalated, instead of rubbing them, Samantha spoke firmly to her ears, as described in the book.  After a very short while, the itch reached that irresistible level again, and Samantha repeated the routine.

On the second day, the itch had definitely gone down by at least one notch. Samantha noticed that she had forgotten all about her ears for a couple of hours in the afternoon, but she was disappointed when it began to itch like crazy in the evening.  More of the same routine followed, and day by day, there were fewer times when the itch escalated.

One day, as the itch began to escalate, Samantha began the routine – and the itch subsided!  Samantha was incredulous.  She had actually been able to feel the itch subside.  Samantha never looked back !  From that moment, she could reverse the itch in her ears, and in only a few more days, the itch simply vanished.
