Giving up cigarettes is the most important step you can ever take to improve the prospects for your future health.  No matter how long you have been smoking, as soon as you stop completely, you are improving your risk rating for many smoking-related illnesses. After 12 years, your lungs will have swept away all the remnants of many years of smoking, so there is no time like the present for giving up smoking - and this programme will make it easy for you!

Set your time scale

First of all, set the time scale that you would like to give yourself to give up cigarettes, and discuss this with me.  I will be your guide through this process. 

Telephone Coaching Sessions

You will receive telephone coaching on a regular basis while you are giving up, and for a time afterwards. The programme includes at least three telephone coaching sessions, but this is a minimum, and there is no 'maximum'.  In addition to receiving telephone calls, you can telephone me at any time for extra support, and advice.

Part 1 - listen to the 25-minute CD

The first part of the programme involves listening to CD1 in order to prepare yourself for giving up cigarettes completely.  You will learn a techique to reduce your desire to smoke gradually, even before you reach the day that you give up smoking.

Part 2 - listen to the 35-minute Kick-Smoking CD

Listen to this CD weekly to give yourself all of the help you need to become a confident non-smoker.

You may find that you naturally give up during this time, because your need for cigarettes will be reducing all of the time.

Part 3 - Telephone Coaching

Every week, you will receive a motivational call to see if you are mastering the techniques to reduce your cravings down to nil.

Continue the Programme while your need for cigarettes reduces and your will to give up increases.

When the day comes for you to give up completely, you will have some useful tools to help you.  One of them will help you to overcome any time when you may begin to feel like having a cigarette.

Kick-smoking gives YOU the power to reduce any cravings in a few moments by using the Kick-Smoking technique.

You will have rehearsed this technique many times, and it will be fascinating for you to feel those cravings disappear, at your own command!  This skill lasts for life.

Your cravings will soon disappear completely, leaving you a confident, happy, non-smoker!

Keep your chart with a score for each day. 

Watch how your 'intensity score' reduces day by day.  When your day for giving-up comes, your cravings may have already disappeared!

 

Before you begin, here are the Kick-Smoking Programme "rules":

1. Prepare to dedicate time to listen to your CDs.  There are two CDs; one is only to be listened to once, the other one weekly.  Your subconscious will learn new ways of behaviour only if you listen to the CD or MP3 in the correct way. You must not listen to these CDs while you are doing other things.  You must not play them while you are driving, or as a passenger in a car.

2. Your Cs play for 35 and 45 minutes, and you must be completely undisturbed throughout this time.

3. Switch off your landline and your answerphone (unless it is completely silent), and put your mobile in another room if it vibrates. You must not be disturbed by pets, or people.

4. As you begin to listen to the CDs, close your eyes and make sure you are reclining comfortably.

5. Listen all the way through without interruption.

 

The Kick-Smoking programme gradually turns you 'right off' cigarettes.

2. Read the notes.

3. Telephone coaching sessions will help you to succeed.

You will receive at least 3 telephone coaching sessions to ensure that you have understood the instructions clearly, and know how to reduce your need for cigarettes gradually down to nil.  (There is no maximum).
